With so many nearby attractions geared towards families, finding plenty to do for youngsters really is child’s play in Nottinghamshire. For families with younger children, spend a day at White Post Farm Centre – a modern, working farm with over 3,000 animals; indoor play areas; a pet learning centre, tea gardens and a gift shop. For those of you with older children, enjoy some monkey business at ‘Go Ape’ – a highwire experience in the trees. Both breaks offer families a Friday overnight stay and free breakfast for the kids before departing on the Saturday.
